CHANGES FOR THE MEETINGS DURING COVID-19

Updated 5/29/20

Hello, Friends! Our M&O has been discussing how we should move forward with regular activities as the issues and restrictions arising from COVID-19 begin to relax slightly. We want to make sure that we are still protecting each other as well as taking care with ourselves. Below are updates from our most recent M&O meeting on 5/20/20.

We have *not* decided upon a date to reschedule the Pork Chop Supper or if we even feel it is appropriate to reschedule. We will be discussing next month how to proceed.

After a long absence from the Meeting House, West River will be open for in person Sunday Services starting this Sunday, May 31st at 10:30 am. We ask all that feel comfortable and safe to join us and will respect and understand those who do not chose to be in the group environment as of yet.

Following is a list of procedures we would ask all to follow to keep us all safe:

*Masks are highly encouraged to help protect yourself and others. We will have masks available for those who do not have any and wish to utilize.
*Hand sanitizer will be available
*There will be no Children’s Church. Children should remain with their families during the entire service.
*There will be a Children’s message, but the children should remain with their families.
There will be no traditional “Friendly Greeting” period.
*Social Distancing of 6 ft. or more must be observed during the entire service to the best of your ability.
*We will have markings on pews for families and guests to assist with the social distancing and ask those to use the same seats during this pandemic time in order to use the same hymn book, etc., from week to week.
*There will be an offering plate at the rear of the meeting room for donations.
*No bulletin will be available to avoid contact with others
*All doors possible will remain open to avoid the need to touch additional surfaces.
*There will be no adult Sunday School class on May 31. The group can discuss the future of holding that class when we meet on the 31st.
